I Hate Allergies.

I intended to post a tribute for Memorial Day today, but I have been feeling pretty rotten. The rain has held off for the first time in about 3 days, so today has been humid. It has also been prime for people to mow. And mow. And mow. My eyes are so full right now, I think I will leave you all with this little gem. I should be back on tomorrow with a tribute to my favorite veteran, my dad.

I once heard the 'bless you' we offer after a sneeze is to prevent sneaky Satin from capturing your soul. Apparently, sneezing causes us to loose control of our bodies providing the evil doer the opportunity to take over. Bless you!

Well, novabreeze, I imagine Satan does wear satin. Gazhundheit? Bless you.

Thank you both for your blessings...Lord knows I need 'em! The weather in central IL at the moment isn't helping (it's a very cloudy, windy 51 degrees), but I think I am on the mend.

Hope all is well up north, and that you all are getting some nice Spring weather.

Oh, we're having lovely spring weather. The sun is shining in a crisp, blue sky. And, in farhenheit terms, it's about 42 degrees!!!

Glad to hear you're on the mend.

It was in the 80s a couple of days ago...that's what started this sniffling, congested mess.

42 degrees, huh? October, anyone?
