A "Cinderella" story
Well, it has been a couple of weeks since my last entry. School has been busy, and I have managed to start two new jobs in the past week.
I have been hired by Franklin High School to teach a theatre class and direct the musical. There has been some issues surrounding their staffing for the course, so I was called in to help. I feel like a fish out of water with the directing bit...I am definitely having to cull through my own experiences with performing and working on the technical side of shows to get a feel for directing. It isn't easy to have your head in all of the different components of a show at one time, but I'm sure I'll get the hang of it.
I am sure that as time goes by, I will have many little stories to share about the experience...stay tuned!
