Better late than never??

We all know the old chestnut "Better late than never." Keep that in mind when you look at the following photo taken this afternoon:




Ok, so I am far from punctual. Actually, I operate two ways with regard to time: insanely early and barely late. If I were a character in "Dances With Wolves," my name would be "Never on Time." That said, even I know that when it is almost time for April showers to bring May flowers, your Christmas tree should be farther from your home than the END OF YOUR STREET!!

I do not know who on this block has committed this holiday decor faux pas, but I do know that when it stops raining, I will walk the street in search of visible Christmas lights, etc. Although I really should thank them...this gives me the reason to revisit a holiday favorite:

As We Stumble Along

It's been a busy couple of weeks, and while I hate to deprive my hoards of readers of a wordy post, I'm going to let a showtune do my talking tonight. This is certainly not to say that I am a lush, but a gal has to do what a gal has to do. School has been busy, we had some drama "drama" with my theatre class, and I am a bit tired from the week.

So, if you'll excuse me for the time being, I've a bottle of Bailey's and a cup of decaf calling my name. Cheers!

You know it's midterm time when...

It's 12:30 a.m., and you and your fellow procrastinators have set up camp in the computer lab. The sounds of random YouTube videos intermingle with legitimate educational discussions. You and your cohorts are considering new and practical ways to smuggle alcohol into the building...you know, to make it through the night. Unfortunately, the fact remains that you would all have to put on shoes and actually exert some effort to do so.

What can build such a community among folks from all walks of life?
